Top Three Central Tuscan Countryside Locations for Photoshoots

THE CHIANTI REGION

The Chianti Region is characterized by vineyards, olive trees, and cypress-lined roads. This stunning area includes towns such as Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, and Castelnuovo Berardenga. Its unique landscape of gentle green hills and quaint stone villages offers a rustic and timeless backdrop, making it perfect for photoshoots that capture the essence of Tuscany.

VAL D’ORCIA

Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to several picturesque towns and villages, each offering its own unique charm and breathtaking landscapes. Among these are Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montalcino, Castiglione d’Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni.

These towns are nestled amidst the iconic rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and golden fields that make Val d’Orcia one of the most photogenic and enchanting regions in Tuscany.

CRETE SENESI

Ending with my personal favorite, the Crete Senesi. This area boasts one of the most evocative landscapes in Tuscany, with lighting that transforms every photo into a masterpiece. Located south of Siena, it includes charming towns such as Asciano, Buonconvento, Monteroni d'Arbia, and Rapolano Terme. The name "Crete Senesi," meaning "clay of Siena," perfectly describes the undulating, otherworldly hills that stretch endlessly into the horizon.
